A Jinchuriki's Tears- Ch.19

Whew...ALMOST THERE! Man...It's taking forever to upload all of these...And then I have to type up a bunch of new chapters for my other book....*shrugs* I'll just finish uploading this one first XD

Chapter 19

As soon as I was out the door I was tackled again...By Kiba...

“Misaki!! Please! I’m so sorry for hitting you and tackling you and yelling at you but please!!-”

I pushed him off of me.

“Tackle me again and your fricken dead. And I’m not mad.” I said brushing the dirt off of my (Sasuke’s) shorts.

“Really?! Are you mad at that prick then?!” He asked.

I blinked and looked at him, “Who?”

“Ya know. The Uchiha.” He said hurriedly.

I shook my head, “Nah. You guys were just trying to help.” I said.

His face fell a little but he smiled again. “Why were you in the hospital? We didn’t hit you that hard did we? Although I am super strong so-”

“Oh shut up. I was visiting a friend.” I said.

I turned and looked for Yuki’s window, I could just see his body as he stared at the ceiling. I ran around to the front of the hospital to where he might be able to see me. He didn’t.

I inhaled a lot of air, “Hey!! Yuki!!!” I yelled.

He turned and looked at me.

I smiled and waved at him. He smiled faintly and waved back slowly. Kiba walked up beside me and pointed to him.

“Who’s that?” He asked.

“His name’s ToshiYuki, and he’s my friend now. He’s that boy I saved.” I smiled.

Kiba looked at him curiously and then he frowned. He glared at Yuki angrily. Yuki shrank back and put his hand down, staring at Kiba.

“Hey you little snot! You’re the one that hurt my friend you son of a-”

I cut Kiba off by punching him right in the mouth, sending him flying down the street.

I turned back to Yuki, “Sorry!! That’s my friend!! He’s a huge idiot so ignore everything he says!” I yelled.

He gave a small nod and stared in Kiba’s general direction. The Hospital doors flew open and a nurse came running towards me, a broom in her hands.

“What do you think your doing?! Yelling in front of the Hospital!!?? You woke half of the patients up! NOW LEAVE!!” She yelled.

I jumped slightly and turned to Yuki again, “I’ve gotta go!! I’ll see you tomorrow!” I yelled as she caught up to me, whacking me with the broom. 

I covered my head with my hands and ran towards where Kiba flew, the nurse yelling at me as I went.

Kiba rubbed his jaw slowly. “You didn’t have to hit me so hard.” He mumbled loosely.

I rubbed the back of my neck, “Yeah. I did.” I muttered. “Hey, where’s Sasuke at?” I haven’t seen him since earlier.”

Kiba shrugged. “I don’t care where he is.” He said stubbornly.

I sighed. “Man, sometimes you can be soooo useless.” I said sarcastically.

He mock punched me, “Hey! Shut up!” He said.

“Misaki!!” Someone yelled from in front of me.

I looked up and saw a familiar orange ninja standing in front of me waving his arms.

I smiled faintly and looked at him. “What’s up Naruto?” I called.

“You wanna have a bowl of Ramen with me?” He asked excitedly.

I smiled again and nodded my head. “Sure! I’ll see you later, Kiba.” I said running towards Naruto and sitting down at the Ramen Stall.

“Ichiraku?” I said looking around.

A nice looking old man smiled at me and handed me a bowl of delicious looking ramen.

“Here! Try some!” He said happily.

Naruto plunked in the chair next to me. “This is the best Ramen in the Village!” He said happily.

I smiled. “I’ve never had Ramen before.” I said.

Naruto froze. “You’ve never had Ramen before?!” He said. “Well you have to try some right now!!!”

I smiled and picked up some chopsticks, putting some of the Ramen in my mouth and chewing it slowly. I swallowed and grinned. 

“It’s delicious!!” I said happily.

The old man laughed, “Just for that, it’s on the house!” He said cheerfully.

“Thanks!” I said.

“Hey, old man! Can I have mine on the house to?!” Naruto asked.

He looked at Naruto. “No.” He said.

Naruto frowned. “That’s not fair! I have Chunin Exams coming up! I need to build up my strength!” He complained.

I smiled. “I can pay, Naruto.” I said pulling out my wallet and looking through it for a small numbered bill.

“Wow...You have a lot of money.” Naruto said.

I nodded. “I’ve been saving up.” I said handing the man a bill. “You can keep the change.” I muttered.

He nodded and walked to the back of the store.

I turned and ate some more Ramen.

“Hey, Naruto...Are you...Nervous for the exams?” I asked curiously.

He shook his head. “No way! I’m gonna win! These exams are gonna be a piece of cake for me!” He said confidently.

I looked at him. “Huh..You think so?” 

He nodded.

“Well...Then it’ll be an even bigger piece of cake for me!” I said slurping more noodles.

Naruto bunched up his face. “Are you saying you’re gonna do better than me?” He asked.

“Challenge accepted.” I said between mouthfuls.

“Eh, wha?? What challenge?!” He asked dumbfounded.

“Hey, if you don’t hurry up and eat it then it’s gonna get cold.” I said.

He looked at his bowl. “You’re right!” He said, eating the Ramen at a super fast pace.

Miraculously, he finished before me.

“See! I would win anyways! I finished before you!” He said patting his stomach as we walked down the dark roads.

“How does beating me at eating Ramen prove anything?!” I asked exasperatedly. 

“That means....Uhh...I’m not so sure.” He said rubbing his head.

I rolled my eyes. “Man, Naruto, do you ever think before you talk?” I laughed.

“Hey! That’s not very nice!” He said offensively.

He put his arms behind his head and took big steps in defiance.

“You’re crazy, Naruto.” I whispered.

“Eh? Did you say something?” He asked.

I shook my head, “Nah.” I said quickly.

He was quiet.

I looked at him, “Hey, have you seen Sasuke around lately?” I asked.

He blinked. “No, he’s always with you. You guys are really close aren’t you?”

I shrugged. “You could say that.” I muttered.

“Why do you ask anyways?”

“Because we got into...A fight earlier. He took a swing at me and I ran off. I haven’t seen him since. It’s kinda worrying but then again, he can take care of himself so I forget about it. But....No one’s seen him...It’s strange.” I mumbled.

Naruto stuck up his lip stubbornly. “Everyone’s always talking about Sasuke. Sasuke this, Sasuke that. Jeeze, what’s so good about him anyways. I’m waaay cooler than him!” Naruto grumbled.

I laughed. “Yeah, you got a point. He annoys the crap out of me all the time, I mean seriously...That guy....Always thinking he’s better than me...It bugs the crap outta me, sometimes I just wanna snap his little Uchiha neck....” I chuckled.

Naruto glanced at me.

“But then again...In some way...He’s helpful ya know? He kinda saved me...More than once...But....I think I’ve gone to deep this time...There’s no going back....” I mumbled.

“Eh? What do you  mean?” Naruto asked.

I blinked and laughed nervously. Oh crap! Did I just say that out loud?! I thought frantically.

“Nothing, Naruto. Don’t worry about it. Just me babbling to myself...” I trailed.

He stared at me. “Your weird.”

I hit him over the head, “Jerk! That’s not what you say to someone who’s your friend! Honestly!” I say angrily.

He rubbed his head. “Calm down.”

I looked at him.

“Just calm down already. Your acting crazy again.” He said.

I smirked. “Wow...You nearly had me fooled, Sasuke.” I chuckled.

He cursed. “So it’s that obvious huh?”

I nodded. “Of course, everything you’ve said since the ramen stall...Naruto wouldn’t say it like that...But I do have to say I’m impressed, your acting skills are quite good. Especially since you can just insult yourself like that...Very nice.” I chuckled.

He rolled his eyes and transformed back into himself.

“So what was up with that? Hitting me and then hiding? Not cool.” I said.

He was quiet.

I sighed and began walking again. “Oh well, doesn’t bother me. At least you showed up again.” I said.

He was still quiet.

I glanced back, he hadn’t moved.

I sighed, “Hey, what’s up? Are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna follow me?”

He looked at me, “What can’t you go back from?” He asked.

I stared at him and snorted. “Nothing to important.” I said.

“Bull. Tell me now.” He demanded.

I raised my eyebrows. “Commanding me? Are you serious? Just who do you think you are?” I scoffed.

He flashed in front of me, “Tell me.”

I snorted again. “Forget it already. It’s none of your business.”

“Fine.” He said, flashing away.

He was gone. I laughed to myself. Oh well, he’ll get over it sooner or later. Besides, it seems something interesting is going to happen soon...This years Chunin Exams should be fun.
