The Beautiful StrangerA Poem by P MikeIt's all about how we behave in the face of love.
Like the dullness of the bloom of the heaven at the turbulence of the sky in the begining of rain.
Like the twinkle of the stars in moonlight. Like the constant blinking of the eyes when waking up to bright light, so were my eyes in the sight of a ravishing woman. I stood there watching and the inflow of blood to my brain ceased, as I stood being lost. I care less who may be watching I care less who may be snitching. All I see is the beautiful lady standing beore me, and she is all I want the more. After some seconds I heard a voice, like a whisper to the ears, smoother than the honey of bees softer like the cloud of heavens "Can you get me this", she said with a smile. My heart leaped within like a soul lifted up by the conglomerate of musical instruments emitting joyful sounds. My head said: this is your chance. How can I miss this. I chuckle as I move closer. The store shaked to the sounds of my feet as I move towards her, but still looking unconcious as I walk to her. Getting nearer, she smiled at me and I can't hold back, but smile. I can't stop thinking can this be happening, or are my dreaming. In my country, this can't be happening, I said within me. And after paying for her stuff she gave me an hug and peck, but I was still thinking. And when I would wake up from myself imposed dream, it was too late. Too late to do anything about. Too late to stop what has gone forth. For the beautiful stranger has parted with the wind of time.
