Gone

Interestingly enough, I wrote this poem about my girlfriend during my freshman year of high school. Thankfully, we got back together a few years later and have been a happy couple for over two years.

Like a leaf in the wind.
The 9:40 train at 10.
Love is what lovers make it.
It's undecidable,
undeniable,
completely decisive,
and with the right intentions,
true.
But like you,
It's gone.
