This is just a poem I came up with one day. IT;s not one of my best, but I figured, "Why not?"

Each Day

The sun rises and sets in the east and west

We rise and fall as the days linger on and on

Each day is a subtle reminder of why we are here

Each day is one day less to do what we have to do before we die

Each day is a day to either look forward to or to regret

Each day draws us nearer to who we really are

Each day, each day, each day

The thought lingers in your head like a gong

It follows you everywhere and everyday it comes back to haunt you
