I guess this is just another one of my poems...

Lingering, lingering in the shadows so no one can see me

Lingering, linger, waiting, hoping something,

Something good will happen, but it never does

Lingering, lingering long and hard on what to make of my life

Lingering, lingering on one thought, one breath, one final chance of freedom

Lingering, it seems like the whole world is just lingering for something to happen

Lingering, Lingering, Lingering a single thought, a single note, a single subject that just won’t go away

Lingering, the eternal flame of life

As long as you are lingering you are here, here next to me, keeping me warm

Lingering, the only thing keeping us alive

Lingering, the thoughts and feelings of many of our loved ones

Lingering, it never does stop

Lingering…
