Crushed

Crushed

A Poem by Mike Wolfe
"

Sometimes life seems to be too hard. This was written in a dark time in my life, and though the time has passed, I need to reflect on where God has brought me from.

"

Darkness prevails. My hope is fading fast.

My dreams seem to break like glass.

And every breath I wish is my last.

I can only believe that this will soon pass.

But the feelings I have don’t leave;

I can’t stop being alone.

My life is dying and no one will grieve.

I’m left here on my own.

Can anyone out there hear me?

If they do, I guess they don’t care.

What I wouldn’t give to be free

But people just want me out of their hair.

I’m sick of losing my dreams,

I keep seeing these illusions.

Tears come off my face in streams

As I’m lost in my own delusions.

This was very dark, and emotional.
beautifully penned and flowed well,
I think one of my favorite pieces of poetry so far on this community. ^__^

I truly felt your pain and the slow downward spiral of your demise....
A well expressed write.
