A Poem by Michael of Gilead
"

what i saw....what i felt...song goes with the poem

"

Will I ever know

Come on come on

Can I live my life

Come on come on

Can I forget the past

Come on come on

Have I seen too much

Come on come on

On a perfect day

I saw evil strike
Come on come on

Felt the blow

Blood drain away

Come on come on

Smelled the smoke

Watched them die

Come on come on

Ripped a part

of me away

Come on come on

Don’t tell me

not to hate

Come on come

The proof lies

in that hole

Come on come on

Cover it with

concrete

Come on come on

It will always be

In that ground

And within me

come on come on………..
