“Lucky you!” she exclaimed, “I've looked around and don't see any mistletoe anywhere. I suppose that means you don't have to kiss me.” The boy wiped his forehead, feigning a sigh of relief. “Whew!” he said, “I thought for a moment I was a dead man.” The couple walked along the marbled floor of the airport, making special notes of people they passed by. “Look!” she said, “I think that man with the long, dark coat might be an international spy.” They laughed as they walked. “I think,” said the boy, “he is carrying a hidden camera inside his suitcase!” They continued, walking shoulder to shoulder, nudging one another as they went toward the exit.
