Time Lapse

This isn't really a story; more nonsense than anything.

Time Lapse

Where upon a time, when there is no more time, things might appear a bit confusing.

But, however, there is no time for confusion, since time does not exist.

So upon the absence of time, nothing is accomplished. No schedules to keep, no deadlines to meet, no goals needed to be set. Nothing is done because we have no time for it.

Races are never won because clocks are not ticking.

Airplanes fall from the sky like giant metal raindrops. They have no departure time, no time of arrival, no time to fly.

Chaos is the order of the day.

 There is no time to go to your job, no time to be home;

 Time simply does not exist.

And I suppose, in some small way, this is time; wasted.

This is the insanity of not having enough to do. I suppose I could review some writer's work, but I just don't have time. I have to go clean out our refrigerator instead.

This makes me think of the Twilight zone or a Stephen King movie
where they are in a air plane and Trapped in another demotion without time
and they are the only human beings Creepy.

Nicely penned I don't read many stories but if they're
not too long and interesting I will as I get overwhelmed
with stories that are too long but I loved your case of Innocents story
prefect for April Fools day and put it in my general reading and Favorites.

I loved this stanza's Line was different and quite interesting.

This reminds me of a twilight zone episode I once saw. I think Captain Kirk had the lead role. Or maybe it was the guy who played Quincy on that television show back in the late 70's about a crime solving forensic pathologist. Nevertheless, the actor, whoever it was wakes up to find that time has stopped. All the people have also disappeared. It's like a tomb. He walks around in the stillness and quiet, and sees many of the same mages you mentioned in your piece. Ultimately he kind of freaks out, has some existential break, and then it ends. I don't remember exactly, it's been a long time. I might even be mixing a couple episodes together. For what it's worth that's my take. The guy who wrote the twilight zone, Rod Sterling I think it was, well, he probably had a lot of the same kinds of thoughts and images bouncing around in his head as you. Anyway, thanks for being.
