Sea Breeze

Sea Breeze

A Poem by Assassin of the Light

Song lyrics

"

smell salt relax a bit

wind blows in my face

taken in breath deep

many memories of this place

blue cascades foaming froth

breaking over stone

whispering waves sings songs

of deaths ghostly moan

aquamarine, so serene

blue wave, the sailors grave

stare to the horizon, all alone

by myself, right at home

sea breeze, time freeze

chill bones, buckle knees

sea breeze, time freeze

take me home sea breeze

thrown to the froth

drown in the azure

lay with the fish

on the ocean floor

rise through the depths

explode through great waves

rest safely in peace

the oceans my grave

haunting the deep blue

by myself all alone

just another lonely spirit

longing for home

drift with the ebbs

travel on tides

take me back

to where loved ones died

sea breeze, time freeze

chill bones, buckle knees

sea breeze, time freeze

take me home sea breeze
