Star of the Night, Gleam of the Sight

Star of the Night, Gleam of the Sight

A Poem by Poison Soulz

Whispered Desires
yet to be told
Moonlight's kisses
yet to unfold.

Glassy, fluorescent lights
in the nighttime sky.
The sun, having disappeared
Ever so shy.

A rounded face
among the sky,
and stars that lace
around that face, so high.

Tiny diamonds
sparkle and glitter
Shooting stars
that dance and flutter.
A shower of stars,
fall every minute.
They light up the black sky,
and those who see it.

I'd camp out with the stars
and sleep to the sight.
Give my thanks for such an image
every single night.
Use every star

and wish it,
If such a night time sky existed.
