Please, Don't tell me of your story

I already know it
I've been inside your mind
Inside the mind of a poet

You run
Keep running.
For you cannot hide
Your nightmare will be there.
Right by your side.

Watching and waiting
night after night
and if you keep running
It will stay by your side.

I haven't been to sleep in two nights now I would welcome a nightmare or two about right now. Though why is this person running and from what? I thought poets were the voice without fear to stand up to be heard :) Interesting write and I liked it.

Scarily accurate. I've been having nightmares quite recently, and it feels exactly like this...it's crazy reading and feeling like it too! Great write, I like it very much(:
