Accepting the 'Not Very Different' ones.A Poem by Mihika_dThrough this poem I have tried to convey the message how parochial our society is and how necessary it is in today's date to accept these souls. #LGBTQ
Hands swung while walking
Totally dench they looked But that beauty was confounded instead of appreciating For the hands were 'his' ; into the sea he dooked. Dressed in a saree Ravishing and quaint was the turnout But not praised by a narry For 'her' soul was trapped in masculine body; the society had her rout. Dainty was she and an amazon her partner be 'She' felt protected and loved in 'her' arm But the love of their lives in each others' eyes which the ladies could see Was compelled to end as the parochial society caused the harm. The parity of gender which the world speaks of Is forgotten abruptly when it is about these souls All we can see is derogatory conduct and scoff How tragic their life becomes 'cause of trolls. There needs to be an end to this-- This disrespectful act towards them This loathsome behaviour that we practice Results in suicides for these souls are condemned. © 2019 Mihika_d |
