I remember the words you spoke to me

You said them so softly

I want scream at the sound of them

They repeat endlessly in my mind

Melting my heart with each syllable

Yet I feel like you don’t mean a word you say

I feel so lifeless when I’m without you

When our eyes meet though

I can feel a swirl of colors cover me

My heart starts beating once more

I can taste the air clearer

Everything brightens up

I become alive

So when I say I love you

I mean it as much as it means

So when you say you love me too

Do you say it with the same meaning too?

It means so much to me

If you just tell me so

Truth be told

I don’t care about your answer

Even though it means so much

I’ll love you the same either way

Mean what you mean

Just be truthful to me
