Imagery in expression

Thoughts on the mind

A picture on paper

Worth a thousand words

Worth a billion silent thoughts

A trillion things unsaid

Never spoken

Left to ones mind

Alone on solstice

Forgotten once again

Never heard to not even ones mind

Never ever again

Specialty in ones own heart

Left to fade apart

Written down on paper

A thought is so much better

Good or bad

Beliefs go hand in hand

Write them down

For when spoken

They create a beautiful sound

A picture may be worth a thousand words

A silent picture is worth a trillion silent thoughts

Forever unspoken

That image is broken

Author's Note

The whole point of this was to express the way a reader can be reading anything from a poem to a newspaper article and between the two writings they can create a connection. That connection can create it's own unique picture that is special to that person. It never gets spoken though, maybe in a review on here but imagine all the other beautiful images unheard. It's worth so much more than a picture on paper. This poem was written I guess to show how special that ones own image can really mean and be. I'm really proud of this one so reviews are appreciated!!!
