A Poem...

Just a poem about myself and about a poem if that makes sense...

 

I never really know what I want to say

So I just say what I come up with

I hope to believe in that and that alone

It's when I know no other way

I just say what I say

In the end everything comes out fine

However, my feelings remain the same

They are always the same as before

I forever unchanging feel no change

I just stay the way I am

To believe what I believe

To forever, believe that way

I stay me

I want people to feel the same

So I may seem outspoken

Might seem like I just won't shut up

It's only because I feel like my feelings should mean more

You should pay more attention

Read more slowly

For what if you missed something?

Something so small you never knew it was planted there?

What if you miss it….

You would never know it

You would never see it

However, I want you to feel it

It has so much meaning

So much change to it

So much but so little attention

It sucks no one else can see some things that are just so amazing

It sucks no one else can feel this way

When you want them to so badly

So you sit there and write about it

Writing about a feeling

Now doesn't that sound funny?

They call it expressing you

However, it is not you, who is apart of the poem,

No,

It is everything else that is apart of you

That is what is apart of the poem

Something that hurts you

Your just trying to put it into words

Something that makes you happy

Your just trying to put it into words

Something that makes you sad

Just try to put it into words

All that the people feel are imaginary feelings

They are still the same

You will not change anything this way

You will not accomplish anything with writing your feelings

Do something about it

For when you just sit around, wonder, think, or write

It will not accomplish anything

You have to do something about it all

For the poem will never happen if you do not

So, give effort

Give emotion

Give rhythm

Give tactic

Give time

For that's what it takes to create

A poem
