A haiku for my brothers dog Lana who waits and cries till either one of us gets home first from work haha.

I will wait and cry

For you to return to home

Maybe never at all

Aww, this poem brings to mind my own dog who sits at my window and waits for me whenever I leave. :) Sad but sweet portrayal of the dog's thoughts as he waits for his beloved family to return.

What a thoughtful dedication to such a special animal. They always hope that we will come home sooner or later. I love animals, but have never personally written about mine. Like how three lines can hold so much truth!
