Twins

Twins

A Poem by Miguel Chicas
"

To be cared for.

"
In our mother we look to her
To swim over the earth today
As we fall as two to become one
Not to see one to go away from the glow
We tie our fragment emotions to sail
Our bodies life live within our waters
while our mind and speeches expand in air

Thankyou for your review on "my walk"... I have chosen your poem "twins" for my review. I had to read it twice ,the type of poetry that makes you think. It said to me that perhaps you are one of twins yourself or closely connected to twins. With deep respect of mother who nourished and protected the twins in the uterus , you still value her nurture as you independently develop and move on with your separate lives. I think there is so much to those lines, perhaps beyond what I can understand . I think you write very deep.

Thought provoking, i can see it might be open for interpretation.
Could be babes swimming in the womb or could be the stars.
Either way I like it.

I find it intriguing the way you connect the words. Here is the challenge though. There would be one stream of thought that will sugest punctuations as otherwise the writing may be at risk of disjointed but then again if you go and point out as punctuation does you stop them reader from finding something that otherwise... So the motherly gesture embracing which hold us always trying to keep us from delving ino the dark. So it also becomes a centering image while we grow and expand into life.

Profound.

Thankyou

Life is connected to the universe. That is what I felt as I read your words. It's a big poem penned with so few words.
