The SpinsterA Poem by Mifa"With each passing day, she awaits him"With each passing day, she awaits him; As her batting eyelashes, keenly searches for a sign. Her femininity, longs for a sensual touch, Her loins grow weary; She needs a man. Oh! How she craves for him.
She pleasures herself; It throws her into a befitting ecstasy. But sudden as it excites; sudden it dies. She needs a man; if for naught, But for the tears her vulva craves. That weeping that has eluded her for eons; The pain-sweet bliss of intercourse; The soothing feel of pleasurable warmth
Naked she stares into the mirror, And her reflection dampens her. Her once erect n****e seems sickened, And the wrinkles in her eyes...
Oh, how badly she needs a man. A little tear drops from the corner of her eyes, And she quickly dries it to oblivion. Once more she stares at her reflection, But this time, she smiles.
All was not lost after all, It is another new day. Maybe the signs will come on this day; And she will find the man she awaits. …maybe, she sighs. © 2016 MifaAuthor's Note
