Mornings Echos

Mornings Echos

A Poem by Resa

Last night I dreamt that I was once again a child.
Running barefoot across green blades of grass.
Carelessly swaying in the breeze,
Like a giant sunflower,
Free and wild.

From this heavenly state, I struggled not to wake.
Nights shadows, disappeared into the light.
Like a thief, my lovely dream , did Mornings echos take.

I love the idyllic atmosphere of the first stanza and the imagery you've deployed. Well written Resa, keep up the good work!
