A Shadow of a Maybe

A Shadow of a Maybe

A Poem by Midnight

A Shadow of a Maybe

Stupid Me

How could I think to make it out alive?

She's one of the most important things in my life

And like an idiot

I was going to walk out on her

Just cause the blade of love was getting a bit too sharp

But she knows me too well

I didn't get too far before my heart ached for her

Just to be near her

I can't live without her

She brings out the best in me

Without her I would be

A shadow of a maybe

The world wasn't the same

It was like a light went out prematurely

And tears fell like rain

Every heartbeat had me in pain

Now I know

I can't Live Without Her

She brings out the best in me

Without Her I would be a

Shadow of a Maybe

Just a lonely....

Shadow of a Maybe....
