Leaving the first thing, to the last.

Leaving the first thing, to the last.

A Poem by Midnight_Mask
"

doesn't have anything to do with the title.

"
I see you both standing here,
Holding hands, you both fear
That one day you'll break apart
Crush the one precious thing,
Your hearts.
But yet you both still walk,
On thin ice,
And dreading thoughts.
Life built up on anxious dreams,
Lock and load,
Blow up these silly things.

Why stick to the shadows?
There's millions of paths to take,
Each one,
Hurting us on the way.
But what we learn is worth gold,
Leads our life to unfold.

Have you looked into someone's eyes?
See the truth they have to tell,
And those ugly lies.
Have you saw something there that'll make you cry?
Shut your life up inside the dark,
Left there to rot,
But also brought life to your own thoughts.
Fluttering inside of you,
It's your heart.
Let it loose and fly wild,
But keep in mind to use your senses.
Don't walk down a road blind,
You'll surely bee robbed or die.

These are mindless lessons that you should take to heart.
Don't forget the hurtful past.
Tough memories weren't meant to last,
Tough people will live through every breath to the end.
