Before we know it...

Before we know it...

A Poem by Midnight_Mask

Before we know it,
We all wish for more time.
She's been waiting her whole life,
And before her eyes,
He'll fade away before the dying night.

Sun will then rise,
A new day, a new chance.
But her only wish was to share a kiss,
Before the one she mourns for,
Disappears like water running threw her hands.

Now we all bow our heads,
Even if his still not dead.
Respect.
Fantasies crave to be dreamt,
As she buries her head in her hands,
Crying for her love, her man.

"I always thought it was I who rescued you,
But it was you who rescued me."
