Gazing, thinking of her...A Poem by Midnight_Mask
I'm a guy about 5 and a half feet tall,
Common brown hair, eyes to match. I won't say I'm good looking, But I know I'm not ugly at all. I see a girl walk on by, Is it me, or by everyday she gets more divine. One look makes my heart ache, She continues walking and waves 'hi'. My heart beat wavers, And all I can manage is a smile How can I be so stupid? I probably scared her into running miles. Cursing myself I shout out her name, She turns, a sweet smile spread across her face. I stutter for words, managing a 'er' 'How about those dreams?' I silently stab myself for asking something so stupid. 'Huh?' Her cheeks starts to turn red, She goes to answer, but she turns and starts running. Bewildered I just stare at her go, Why don't I run after her? I like her don't I? Looking down at myself, I make an excuse I have class soon, I got my friends, don't need more I settle myself leaning against the wall. Gazing, thinking of her...
