Little Black Cat: Part 1A Poem by Midnight_Mask
Hay little black cat, sitting all alone
Your eyes a strange shape, alluring a strange glow Why may I ask, you are so far from home Yet you sit and stare all day long. You meow while you purr, as your paw strokes your face So persist, that you are worshipped by mice Your tail swish swash as you stare ahead So beautiful that you shine a godly red You're a year older now But still quiet small And yet you still sit in the same part of town Every time I see you, you act like a fool. Tripping over your legs and falling down Trying to catch a butterfly with a frown You slip on the ice and try to find your balance You've been too much of a friend not notice As you run around in the fields, a golden glory I look up at the sun and tell your story You're like a cat, a cute pet Now I say Happy Birthday to you, You're my bestest friend We're the ones who are always misunderstood.
