Not knowing that you liked someone this whole time...

Now we're entwined just standing limp

leaning on each other for the extra support

I've finished crying and just listening to your heart beat

pro-longing my breathing so we're in time

You sigh and hold me at an arms length away

But our faces are just seconds from each other

You quickly sweep your eyes at my features

Taking everything in, your breathing quickens

Your face is set perplex but firm

I struggle to understand, to learn

Light badgers my skin and begin to burn

I know its sunny, but it hurts

Quickly holding me tight again

People start to stare

"Do you think that one day,

Just one day, you'll be okay?" 

That's what you say.

Nodding my head against your chest, yes

I hear you take a breath

"Well-" You begin, a little shaky

"Do you think there's someone that'll hold you close?"

I frown at your body, thanking that you can't see my face

"Of course, there is someone right now"

Then I thought through your words

A feeling then occurred

Becoming conscious of my hand

Yours in mine, caressing my palm with your thumb

Pulling at a longing in the pit of my stomach

And then my eyes close as I picture it

...A dream like no other, I'm happy

Me and you together like we always are

Laughing and playing silly things

Hand in hand with my head rested on your shoulder...

"Your the one that can hold me close,

Moments with me of when we laugh are only ours,

I don't care who they are. I don't want them.

But to make sure I, look up into your eyes

Stretch to my tippy toes, to gain height

Hug my arms around your neck and pulled my face close to yours

Our lips crush into one another

Sending chills through me, tingling my tummy

With delight I close my eyes, 

To cherish this moment in time

We've picked up a rhythm with ease

Our tongues entwine in a dance
