Stole You From Me

Stole You From Me

A Poem by Midnight_Mask

As if a shadow sneaked in and stole your sight,
Stole your everything,
And left you soulless and blind.
Cradling my cracked face with trembling hands,
Lungs rattling, heaving and straining,
My whole body dazed and complaining.

Lips shaky and too weak to sound,
To call out,
Vanished from my side.
Hands grabbing for something to scar,
Heart drumming ready for war,
Eyes burning red and sore.

I'll never find where you are.
