You Lost Yours

You Lost Yours

A Poem by Midnight_Mask

I'm asking you what went wrong,
And how'd we got so far,
And why are we staring, at a blank wall?

There's still so much we can do,
We can fight it through
But you lost yours.

We are still so far from making this right
Our hearts are not ready to die
So when did we call it quits?
Throw the towel in and call it a miss,
I never did.

I guess we lost ourselves,
And couldn't find each other,
But why did we just, gave it all up?

There's so much we can say,
To try and fix it all,
But you lost yours.

I've been preying for a wish,
That there's nothing I will miss, with you.
I've been dreaming for a chance,
To come run back to romance, with you.
