The Voice in Your Head

The Voice in Your Head

A Poem by Midnight_Mask

Never mind the pain,
The dwelling for that day,
When the world seems to halt,
And feelings disperse in rapid faults.

Overcome to the point you can't breath,
Everything becomes minor,
Thoughts blossom and become finer,
Until it all becomes too much,
And you crush within the crunch.

Repeating what you've already said,
As if to confirm to the voice in your head.
Those images that haunt you so,
No-one else pays attention to and soon thoughts grow.

You understand that you're turning insane,
Favoring the company of the invisible instead,
Dragging yourself into a dream in your head.

You played the game required at the time,
Lying to those who wont understand your life,
But the deepening frowns will always remain,
You will always be the one who's insane.

Nice flow in the first two stanzas.
The last ones however seem too twist in the way that the writer describe in the way the author feels.
Nice.
