just one more sip

  Just one sip, it couldn't hurt

      could it?

It was a simple honest mistake

  as the sour bitter sweet concoction entered my throat i found myself waiting for more

   one sip of the bitter beer and i was hooked

slowly day after day

   i found my self drinking more. From a sip, gulp, just one more sip.

from a sip to a gulp it was no longer enough

    from a bottle of beer and three glasses of wine it was not enough

      just one more sip, it couldn't hurt could it?

then i came across a bottle long forgotten

   it tasted delicous in a sip so more couldn't hurt

          could it?

oh well, Bottoms up.

    i manage to drink a sip of it at least twice a week.

  just one more sip is no longer enough

      screw it time for more

Bottoms up, oh god what have i done

   ....just one more sip....

This is a really good poem; I love the way it's set out, it really works with the message you're putting across and the narrator's train of thought. The repitition of 'just one sip' is both enthralling and creates suspense. Great poem :)
