Entwined

A Poem by Bianca

It towers over me

 like a guardian angel

Red mulch circled around us

 like flowing lava

The rough bark splintered my hand

 the little troopers climbed

The branches hung seven feet high

 I saw green water splash

When really it was the trees leaves

 waving at me

The sturdy branches supported me

 It is my ladder, my

 support system

I looked at the birds as they chirped a Hello and gently flew by

I sucked in the air of pine and sap

as i climbed down and thought What a wonderful Day

And which to the tree which I bid good-day I smiled and sniffed the aroma of this pine tree

I thought Good bye for the last time and then I

 walked away
