The whispers of a candle

The whispers of a candle

A Poem by Bianca

A candle light flickers

 showing the darkness around me

I hear the hushed whispers,

but no one else is here

Fear curls around my throat

suffocating me in pain, I shut my eyes

to the whispers they start slowly chanting,

I stumble looking for a way out but i can't,

I am slowly loosing my vision

I gasp for air, slowly my lungs expand

the rythmic chanting hushes and a candle brightens

i see like before without the dark haze,

A golden light sparks from the candle showing a hint of bronze from a doorknob,

i sprint towards it and yank the door open

as i start to walk out the candle dims and starts to drip a thick dark red ooze,

 blood.
