Fear

Fear

A Poem by Lauren Jones
"

my greatest fears

"

Terror, Fear, Dread

I can’t do it

I’ll fall

It hurts

It bites

I’m trapped

Too high

Too sharp

Too creepy

Too confined

Horror, Distress, Panic

What if leading the mind through a horror maze

Heart quickening, palm sweating, thoughts racing

Run, scream, escape

Acrophobia

Trypanophobia

Arachnophobia

Claustrophobia

Just like borderline, I tried to allow my emotions to control the direction of the poem
