You Don't Even Know

One of my first and only love poems.

You are my sun, and my moon.

The oceans, the mountains, make me think of you.

You are the flowers, the clouds, and the earth.

You are the stars, my air, and my universe.

And you don't even know you're wonderful.

You're my sun, you brighten my day,

You can take all my worries away.

I'm not afraid when I'm with you,

I'll be yours until life is through,

And you don't even know you're beautiful.

You're my moon, so even at night I can see,

I'm on top of the world when you're with me.

You light my way and sing to me,

Inspiring me to succeed.

And you don't even know you're brilliant.

You're the oceans, wild and free as rain,

You are everywhere, and you will remain.

You're wonderful, amazing beauty abounds,

Peace and joy, in you, always are found,

And you don't even know you're amazing.

You're the mountains, so, so tall,

I hang on tight, don't let me fall.

So lovely standing high,

Never to go, never to die,

And you don't even know you're forever.

The flowers, pretty and bright,

Always pure, always right,

Such a mystery deep inside,

But never bad, beauty never to die,

And you don't even know you're perfect.
