Time Changes Things

When you needed someone,

I was there.

When you couldn't trust anyone,

I was there.

Even when you felt like you had nothing to live for,

I was there.

 

Don't you get that I've been here for you all along?

Been here when no one was there,

when you really were alone?

 

You act now like nothing ever happened.

Like I never helped you with anything.

All you care for and talk aobut is your love.

You have pushed everyone away for him.

 

I saved your life so many times,

but you just shove that aside.

 

We were sisters at one point,

all that is now is a dream.

a dream that I only wished to have.

 

We have both moved on,

made new friends,

having seperate lives.

 

I just hope you realize what our friendship was like,

and how much we helped each other.

That a guy isn't worth losing a close friend for.

 

I have to just hold my head up high,

and realize that time changes things.
