Worth Living :) <3

As my life goes by I realize things.

Life isn't about just getting through it,

it is so much more.

 

I wonder things like,

"Why am I still here?",and

"Is anything worth living for?"

 

When I think like that,

it's like nothing in my life is,

or ever will be good enough to live for.

 

Thinking those things,

drag me down, deeper and

deeper into a black hole,

a black hole I can't get out of.

 

That's when friends come along,

Those same friends who care,

who forbid me to fall deeper into

the black hole I start falling into.

 

Picking me up, helping me through the bad.

Saying "We are here for you.", and "We love and care

about you too much to let you just hurt yourself."

 

Just by them saying those things,

makes me understand the true meaning of friendship,

and that there is, and always will be a reason to live. 

 

 

 

This poem is dedicated to a certain group of people,

people that I call my friends for life. Sara, Amanda,

Jose, Roxana. Thank you for being here for me,

through my rough times, and sticking by me through all of them.

Either if they were in the past or even this year :') Love you guys <3
