Mystery Guy

Mystery Guy

A Poem by Midnight96

As I sit across from the guy I just met three days ago.
I ask myself, "What is it about him
that makes him so different than
the rest of the guys I know?"
He sits across from me, acting like I'm not here.
As I look at him I know he is hiding something,
something that no one knows.
A secret?, or maybe a dilemma.
I can see a longing sadness in his eyes.
I want to help him, but don't know how.
He looks away from me whenever
I try and look at his face.
Making it seem like he doesn't
want anything to do with me.
It's not a sadness I feel for myself,
but a sadness for him
For what he is going through in his life.
It isn't just an everyday sadness.
It's something a lot bigger than that,
something that could hurt his life in some way.
I can see it in him, the way he looks and acts.
Maybe one day i'll be the one that will make
this sadness in him go away forever.

Its unbelievable. You really are a good writer I'm jealous XD. Only one mistake, "A secret maybe?, or maybe a dilemma."
The ? Only, no , and maybe "A secret? or maybe a dilemma."
