Why do you always go to the girl with the smile on her face
the one who it seems can never break
when in truth she is always faking
her heart is always breaking

Why do you never ask the girl what is wrong
all you do is stare and walk along
when inside she wants to cry
her friends never understand why

Why is the girl who always smiles
the one who breaks down in her bed
When she lays in bed at night
her smile is no longer there to protect her

Why does she cry her self to sleep at night
all she wants is someone to kiss her goodnight

so just stop and think when you see a girl with a smile

give her a hug
make her laugh
