Carry Me Away With You

Carry Me Away With You

A Poem by Heart Of A Wolf

The nightime whispers to me

As lighting streaks across the sky.

Thunder claps its mighty hands

While raindrops fall from clouds that cry.

Musky scents waft to me

As a cool breeze blows across my face.

It fills my nostrils with a scent,

So sweet i can almost taste.

The scene plays over my senses

As i watch it passing by.

It makes me wish for wings

To drift way with it and fly.

Gosh, I miss reading you...like long lost lover, a dear friend, a drifting beautiful soul.

Miss our chats...sorry, I have been busy with life that we lost contact, and for some funny reason this year, I have been burning the quill Amber.

Here's to hoping you are still my dear friend and that you are still rocking to AC/DC...finger horns. :)
