Though the pain has changed me
no regrets
No none at all.....!
Through the pain I wouldn’t change a thing even if I could I would’ve still loved you, no regrets… what’s the point it won’t change a thing
Though the pain has changed me in ways, you’d never know I’m still that same girl in a body older than its time still, no regrets that’s what I tell myself day after day year after year no regrets…. no regrets…..
Just heard an old Garth Brooks song: "I might've missed the pain, but I would've had to miss the dance." That song & your poem make me stop & wonder what's the best way to go. I guess when young, it's easier to bounce back, but then we get old & set in our ways, not in the mood to take those chances, anymore (((HUGS)))
