The Wolf

The Wolf

A Poem by Midge Marie

Free, like the Wolf

I want to be free, like the Wolf.

Like my brother the Wolf  I to have been caged by rumor and assumption.

I need to break free of theses chains that society has forced me to wear.

I have had the taste of freedom and it is sweet.

Now these chains and shackles are once again scratching against my bare skin.

I feel heavy under their weight.

I dream of the day that I am set loose.

I will run, I will run like the Wolf.

And I shall be free.

the longing in this is so great, i myself can feel the straining of these "chains" a little advice though it is entirely optional avoid punctuation in poetry, but that is my own opinion and it is considered the writers choice. overall great write loved it:)
