l'eau de lacA Poem by MiddlingA sonnet
Soft summer sunshine
Shone on my skin, Not a sound or tiny din What a wonderful time to go, To dander to the shore As we did so many the times before Across the wily field And up the hill and down again, No reason to yield a frown To the water we went down And many hours were spent, The Lough water lapping Between our fingers and our toes Watching the eau as it flows. © 2010 MiddlingReviews
