Hearts Drained of Blood

Hearts Drained of Blood

A Poem by Orlando Wynn
"

I'll leave that to you

"
What they don't know doesn't hurt them but what I know hurts like hell.
What the f**k am I doing in this world sized prison cell?
Am I waiting for someone to supply what I need? Like the savior people claim bleeds for the sake of their own beliefs.
So many f*****g lies, this world is shrouded in deception.
I feel myself slipping and I'm well on my way to becoming one of them.
My own family pushes me toward that very end.
I see my dark future peer back up at me from beneath the edge.
Where's the one I longed for like the breath of tomorow
maybe all along fate was cursed to never work
Instead babies born dead, young hearts bleed with sorrow.
I guess all along nobody was truly there.
All I see is a world filled to the brim with dispair.
