That MomentA Poem by Lost in WonderlandLife can be lovely when you least expect it:)
It was a mere moment,
I couldn't tell you exactly what time it was, Exactly how old he was, (or exactly how drunk he was). I can't tell you exactly what he looked like, Exactly what he was thinking, Or exactly what he saw in me. However, I can tell you How smooth his hands were, Guiding me into a twirl Like we were at some grand ball Instead of a hot, sweaty music fest. I can tell you how soft his lips were, As they pressed eagerly to mine, Like the kiss of a butterfly, With that exhilaration as it's about to fly. I can tell you how lovely it felt, As The Cure played in the distance, And just for one small second The world melted away, And I wanted it to stay that way. I can tell you how sorry I am I left, But I can't tell you his name, And sometimes I regret that I can't.
