The Pleasure of Good MusicA Poem by Lost in WonderlandA diologue between a man and women as they express their love that entwines and flourishes with their shared passion for music.Oooh baby This is my element The music's good The lighting low And you're dancin' with me Real smooth and slow
There's a spark in your eyes And a sway in your hips You think I can't hear you singin' Words quietly, invitingly Walzing off your lips
Hear the crecendo now? The one in the music so loud Matches the flutter of my heart As you spin me around This song's pulsing through my veins Like a fervent storm without rain Or a thousand tidal waves
What pleasure compairs to this? No simple rose given Not even the deepest kiss Could ever match the passion, The love I've know my whole life long Of a beautiful song
And you here with me Dancing all alone Well thats the most perefect dream I shall ever hope to know. © 2013 Lost in WonderlandAuthor's Note
