Let Me Go

Let Me Go

A Poem by Lost in Wonderland

He whispers to me again

Hypnotic and dark

Pulling me into this sickly trance

Twirling me in a familiar dance

The black chains around my wrists

Keep me bound to him

As he shows a sinister smile

Spitting out these pretty lies

Why can't he just let me go?

I thought we were finlly done

He's turned a dreamers soul into a nightmare

I don't want to admit he's won

So darling come find me

I don't want to fall back to him

Remind me why I love you

Won't you help me break his grip?

How intricately personal and complete to compete with the very essence of love, defined!! A very smart design on how you construct the choicest words to bring us in to this reflective moment in time you have experienced!! Beautiful..... xoxo -Mark

Thanks Kyle:))
Really sweet and heart-rending. I did notice, though, a few typos. "I don't wan't fall back to him" is wan't supposed to be "want to" or something? Other than that, I've got nothing.
Love,
