Wonder in your wide eyes

Mundane expressions now alight

With a smile oh so bright

At the show that's sure to excite

Audiences of young and old

With every ticket that is sold

Girls that fly and playing with fire!

Fills your heart's every desire

Lions and dancers and clowns oh my!

Everything that ever might

Convince you to come on in and join us

At the mystical, marvelous circus

I don't like circus and I hate clowns because they scare me. But after reading this I think circus would be alright (but my mind won't change about clowns) :) I like the metaphors used and the imagery. Keep writing. :)

I remember very well going to the circus when I was young. The animals and arial acts were my favorite besides the motorcycle high-wire acts. I think you've depicted the mood and atmosphere of a circus well here.
