Peace?

Peace...?

Oh what a nice dream

To not have this awful, suffocating

Compress on your heart

And hurricane in your mind

To be able to smile freely

Ha! I that even possible

I honestly don't know anymore

 

For a moment I believed it was

And then came the weight of the past

Crashing like a tidal wave on the

Shores of my conflicted soul

 

Why can't I learn?

"Forgive and forget" obviously doesn't apply here

And so I'll put on my plastered grin

(Until one day, when I finally win)

And keep everyone around me

In an ignorant state of bliss

Poem I wrote whilst being bored and anti-social in health. How very fun right? :D Anyways I feel this way sometimes, bt not always. God's getting me to the promise of peace:) He has the glory <3

Aw, you shouldn't worry yourself. Peace is possible because the future is not written in stone! God can always push the end back if he chooses to, and we should take action to help bring peace along! The future is so bright and happy. I wish I could show you the possible result I am imagining when my art and God's help I believe WILL happen. Sadly, nobody can read another person's mind. This happy possibility I am imagining is bringing tears of joy when I close my eyes and watch everyone laughing, smiling, and happily chatting as they share a huge feast with each other and everyone's kids are playing with one another while the old men and women tell funny tales from each of their countries. Nobody even cares about the differences in one another, and religion is no longer a thing they fight about. :') Everyone is accepted and loved by one another. If that isn't heaven on earth, I don't know what is!

We can if we take action now! The present is the building block for the future, so if we stop just sitting around and hoping for peace and do something to bring that world here a little at a time, our collective efforts will prevail!

I'll admit that the past is rather ugly, and it shows that our doing nothing has helped nobody at all. If we help one another and use our creativity to help bring peace along, we can change everything for the best! Heck, I even had seen the same thing I was planning on doing in the Peace project, something I had planned on starting! God is truly magnificent... (happy sigh)

He is :) And we can start world peace now! Inner peace is a bit harde, but that can be attained by resting in God and giving your pain and worry to him
