FlawsA Poem by MickeyJoy
Feelings are certainly funny
things, Forget-me-nots flutter as if flowers grow wings. Fear itself is the root of these flies, Flying in chaos, cicadas, just cover your eyes. I question but I know that I don't need a heart, I've got one already, it's kept in the dark. I have spider fingers and lions' claws, And my big brown eyes see nothing but flaws. Although my ego is too big for my soul, I lack a self love that mean children stole. I'm now screwed up and mixed up and hung up to dry, But I stay drenched for my tears all fall from the sky. -M.J.B © 2015 MickeyJoy |
