RainA Poem by Mick BurkeNot one for the Irish tourist board.Poets usually romanticise rain, But take it from me, the rain is a pain. Yeah, we need it for flowers, for trees and for grass, But if you're planning a picnic it's a pain in the a*s!
When my plans are spoiled once again by the rain, I shouldn't be shocked, I don't live in Spain. No, I live in ireland, land of legend and lore, Where you know you'll get wet when you walk out the door.
The rainfall statistics provide all the proof, It'd be a great country, if it just had a roof! © 2015 Mick BurkeReviews
